An honest look at a $39 audio download
The Genius Song: what you get, and who is really behind the pitch
A short daily audio track sold as a way to switch on "gamma" brain waves. Here is what the seller promises, what its own disclaimer and Terms say, and how to decide whether it is worth $39 to you.
- A digital audio track; the seller says about 7 minutes a day
- $39 one-time price, paid through ClickBank
- Presenter "Dr. Robert Lake" is a pen name, per the site's own disclaimer
- 90-day refund in the Terms and at the ClickBank checkout

What The Genius Song is
The seller sells one recording that it calls a "sound wave": a digital audio track it says runs about 7 minutes. The Terms of Sale describe the $39 purchase as a copyrighted digital article for personal use. We did not buy it, so the length and content are the seller's description.
It is not an app or a game. The seller describes delivery two ways: the video says the track is emailed to you and can be downloaded to a phone or computer, while the text version of the sales page mentions login details for a "Private Audio Portal". Nothing is shipped.
Who presents it: the sales video is hosted by a man introduced as "Dr. Robert Lake". The site's own disclaimer says Robert Lake is a pen name. The NASA and neuroscientist credentials in the pitch are claims we could not verify.

What the seller claims, and what we can say
Every benefit below is the seller's claim. None has been tested in a published study of this track.
| The seller says | What we can say |
|---|---|
| The track switches on a "dormant" gamma brain wave | Gamma rhythms are real. Research on 40 Hz light and sound has been done mostly in mice and in small early human trials, and it is not about IQ, luck or money. |
| MIT found that lucky, wealthy, successful people share one brain wave | We found no published study that shows this. |
| Faster learning, better memory, "eureka" moments | Binaural beat research is mixed: a 2019 meta-analysis found a medium effect on some outcomes, while a 2023 review found most studies did not show the brainwave change. Nothing tests this track. |
| Luck, promotions, money and relationships improve | On a casino story, the presenter himself says there is no evidence the track caused it. Treat the rest the same way. |
| Weight loss, quitting smoking, migraines and joint pain | Anecdotes in the video, not evidence. The site says the product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. |
| "It starts working the very first time you listen" | No published data supports a timeline. The seller's Terms say its products are provided for entertainment purposes only. |
The testimonials
The video features people introduced as "Rachel, a nurse from Tustin, California", "Michael in Dallas" and "Hannah from Manhattan". The seller's Terms say names have been changed, some marketing is dramatized, feedback may be acted out by avatars or actors, some people were compensated or are friends or family of the founders, and results are exceptional. Do not read them as independent reviews.
The numbers
The video and the text page body say 18,366 Americans have been helped, while the text page headline says 19,389. The video also mentions "thousands of five star reviews". These are the seller's own, inconsistent figures and we could not verify them.
Price and refund terms
One payment, digital delivery, and a 90-day window to change your mind. Read the note on the refund page too.
The Genius Song audio track
$39 one-time
The sales page shows $200, $100 and $49 crossed out. Those are the seller's reference prices.
- Short daily audio track (seller says about 7 minutes)
- Digital delivery after checkout
- Bonuses listed on the sales page
- 90-day money-back guarantee via the Terms and ClickBank
The official site's home page currently features the seller's related audio, The Genius Wave. The Genius Song presentation is on the same site's /video/ page.
The bonuses differ by page
The video says "three free bonuses" but names four: "The Genius Child" audio for kids, a 100-year-old classic book on attracting financial success, a guided visualization from a creator described as top-rated on the Calm app, and a printable infographic of 5 habits. The text page says 4 bonuses but lists three: the book, the "Genius Visualization" and the "Create Your Ideal Future" infographic.
The refund fine print
The Terms say digital products are refundable within 90 days of your initial purchase, and the ClickBank checkout says 90 days from the date of purchase. The site's separate refund page describes 60 days for unopened bottles of a different product, which does not fit a digital track, so use ClickBank's refund route and keep your receipt. The video's "not guaranteed beyond today" price line is sales urgency.
Who it suits, and who should skip it
May suit you
You like the idea of a short daily listening break, you are curious about gamma-style audio, and you will use the 90-day window if it does nothing for you.
Probably skip it
You want a proven way to sharpen memory or focus, or you are hoping for money, luck or weight loss. The evidence does not reach that far.
See a doctor instead
Your memory or concentration has changed, you have migraines or pain, or you have epilepsy or hearing problems. A medical check comes first.
